If we talk about baits for fishing on the river, then my opinion about it is roughly this - the bait is not of primary importance. If you find an active fish and correctly place the bait near it, then most likely, a bite will not happen on all baits, but if you plus or minus hit the type, that is, from 2.5" up to 3.5" or 4", this is the optimal size for a pike. That is, if the bait is of plus or minus this size, you have managed it well near the pike, most likely, a bite will occur.
The best lures for pike fishing in autumn?
I selected several baits for myself. These are all vibrotails, that is, on the river I fish only with vibrotails, they are coarse-bodied. That is, it is such a form of fat, in the size of 2.8" it's a Keitech fat, and in the 2.4" size, it's a Select Fatfish.
