A simple recipe for delicious mulled wine from red wine

Wash the apple and orange and cut them into large slices.

We place clove sticks in all the orange slices we cut.

Add to the saucepan:

• 2 sticks of cinnamon;
• 2 star anise;
• 3 balls of fragrant pepper;
• pea pepper (1 teaspoon);
• sugar.

The more pepper we add, the more bitter the drink will be

Pour the contents of the saucepan with wine, stir.

Heat the mulled wine over low heat and stir constantly until the sugar dissolves.

We never boil it, the optimal temperature is 70-80 degrees!

The drink should be moderately hot, but not to burn us.

Add cognac and mix. Thanks to cognac, mulled wine will taste much better!

We add:

• raisins;
• apple slices;
• orange with cloves.

You can squeeze juice from 1-2 orange slices directly into our mulled wine.

We warm up our mulled wine for another 10 minutes on low heat

We take out the fruit, filter the drink.
