Fiberglass

Fiberglass is one of the most traditional materials used to make float rods. Has strength and durability. Prices are affordable compared to carbon fiber or composite.

Carbon fiber

Carbon fiber is made of carbon fibers. It is a newer material for making float fishing rods. Light, rigid and highly sensitive. The price is high compared to fiberglass.

Composite

Composite rods are a symbiosis of fiberglass and carbon fiber. This material combines the advantages of both: the strength of fiberglass and the lightness of carbon fiber.
