A quick recipe for baked mackerel
The fish just melts in your mouth! It turns out very tender and juicy, you just want to lick your fingers! It takes a minimum of time and effort to prepare a dish, and everyone without exception will appreciate the result!
Preparation of fish
To prepare the fish, first thaw it at room temperature, then cut off the fins and head. Then cut it into portions about three centimeters wide.
After that, remove all the entrails and thoroughly wash the fish.
Be careful and make sure you remove the black film as it can add bitterness to the fish. It is easier to work with any fresh fish if it is not completely thawed.
We make seasonings
- Peel the onion, cut it into two parts and cut into thin half rings;
- Put the washed fish into a deep bowl and add your favorite ketchup, yogurt with mustard, and pour lemon juice over it all;
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and mix carefully;
- Leave the bowl with the fish for half an hour to marinate.
We put it in the oven
We take a baking sleeve, put onions in it and evenly distribute it over the entire surface, creating a "pillow". On the onion "pillow" lay out pieces of fish.
We tie a sleeve for baking on both sides and send it to an oven heated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, cut the sleeve so that the fish browns. Bon appetit! ❤️
