History of feeder rods

  • Feeder fishing was invented in the mid-70s. Its first testers were the fishermen of the rivers Severn and Trent, where at that time there were many chubs. Closed feeders that were full of clean larvae were often used;

  • For a long time the feeder method of fishing was popular only in England, and then attracted the attention of the Dutch and Germans;

  • With the advent of soft fiberglass materials in the 70s, the idea arose to use the tip itself as a signal;

  • As for France, the first articles about the feeder method of fishing appeared quite a long time ago, but the development of this technique took place there, surprisingly, very slowly.
