Class 000 - ultralight. 18th grade - super difficult.

For catching small fish. The place should have a shallow depth and no wind. Baits - dry, small wet flies and underloaded nymphs. The length of the rod is from 1.8 to 2.1 meters

3-4

This class is transitional between light and medium. Suitable for mastering this type of fishing. Baits are nymphs and small streamers.

5-6

Rods of this class are used for catching medium-sized fish. The reservoir must have a strong current or it must be a large lake. The length of the rod is usually 2.7 m. Baits are various flies, nymphs and streamers 4-6 cm in size. The cord used for this class has a significant weight, which allows you to make long casts. As a rule, artificial bait is sent to a distance of up to 15 meters, ensuring accuracy and control when fishing. Among fishermen, it is considered the best option for fishing.

7-9

Rods of this class catch big fish. Powerful, long-range and cast heavy and bulky artificial baits. You can use a drowning cord. The disadvantage of this class is that it is not possible to use a dry fly. This class can already fish also in salt water (sea).

10-18

This class is used for sea fishing and fish respectively.
